Who says guys can't multi task?

So while watching Memoirs of a Geisha, drinking a glass of Chardonnay (normally, I'm a red wine drinker), eating a bowl of popcorn I am uploading images from todays wedding shot on Bainbridge Island with Joe Hein (http://www.joejill.com/) which was a great experience. Normally Joe shoots with his wonderful wife. They have a newborn baby and shot a wedding together yesterday so today I had the good fortune to shoot with him in her place. Back on track..the images are loading onto my computer. While doing so I am loading our Disney Adventure photo's up as well. Those of you that know my photography style know that I shoot a lot. Not kind of a lot...a lot! I forced myself to bring just 12GB of memory to Disneyland to limit my shooting. Ok, I lied. Lea limited me to just 12GB so I wouldn't spend our entire vacation looking through the lens.

The first two nights of our trip we watched fireworks from our Hotel Room. On the Fourth we ran into Terry Dawson. Terry is our Pastor in Coburg, OR. Terry married Lea and I in Maui, Hawaii. It was an incredible coincidence to run into each other. I hope I remember to tell the story of how it happened. Anway...they were for sure going to watch the fireworks inside Disneyland on the Fourth. We wouldn't have if we didn't run into them. I'm so glad we did. It was by far the best fireworks show I have ever seen. While I hate crowds and there were tens of thousands of people there, the show was amazing. Tinkerbell started it off by flying to the Castle and it went uphill from there. Too cool. I'm sure I will post more images later but for now I will post one.

Any photographers that read this may be interested to know that I shot this handheld with a 17-55mm lens.

See you in the funny pages,

Mat
